Crime Index partners with police agencies and state UCR programs across the United States to create a robust and meaningful crime index. Participation in the Crime Index is voluntary and free of cost. Participation in the Crime Index does not replace an agency’s reporting responsibilities with respect to the Uniform Crime Report program. If your agency or department is interested in contributing data to the Crime Index you can easily and securely upload your data in our portal below.
